Straight answers to the questions we get asked most. If yours isn't here, just call or message us — we're happy to talk it through.
What flooring do you supply?
Carpets, LVT (luxury vinyl tile), laminate and vinyl — those four floor types only. We know them well, so the advice you get is honest and specific to your rooms.
Do you charge to come and measure?
No. Measuring is completely free, and there's no obligation to buy once we've been. We'll measure accurately and leave you to think it over.
Can I see samples at home?
Yes — that's the whole point of how we work. We bring the samples to you so you can see the colours and finishes in your own rooms and your own light, rather than under shop lighting.
Do you have a showroom?
No showroom and no shop to visit. We come to you, which means the samples come to your home instead.
Which areas do you cover?
Based in Cardiff, covering most of Wales and beyond. [PLACEHOLDER town list] If you are just outside, get in touch and we will let you know if we can cover you.
How do I get a quote?
Call or text 07368 423040, message us on WhatsApp, email youngandpowell@gmail.com or use the contact form. From there we'll arrange your free home measure.
How much will it cost?
Every room is different, so we price after measuring — and measuring is free. You’ll get a clear quote with no hidden extras and no obligation.
Do you fit the flooring?
We supply the flooring and can talk you through fitting options for your room. Call 07368 423040 and we'll confirm what's included for your job.
What are your opening hours?
[HOURS] Outside these hours, leave a message or WhatsApp and we will get back to you.
Are you reviewed on Google?
We're rated 5.0 on Google by our customers. Ask us about our reviews.
How long have you been in business?
